Problem Solving;The way that I interpreted the problem of moving all the animals to the other side of the river was to rationalize the information and use convergent thinking. I knew that the problem was solvable and that the answer was in the information. What I knew was that I had to get all three animals to the other side of the river without leaving the cat and dog together or the cat and mouse together. I also knew that I was not given a minimum number of trips across the river.
