Victims and Crimes Evaluation;Our criminal justice system has been developed to assist with keeping order within our society, within the system there are several factors that help maintain this order. There are agencies, departments, and roles that people play within the criminal justice system, this paper will discuss some of these things in order for you to gain a better understanding of how the system works.;We will start with the prosecutor, the prosecutor is an attorney that represents the people and state, he is the one that goes against the accused. One of the roles the prosecutor does is determining the type of charges to file when someone breaks the law. Another role the prosecutor plays is showing a jury that the accused is in fact guilty. According to Gifis (1984) the prosecutor?s main role is to seek out justice for the victims.
