Due to financial loss of $ 4.3 billion between 2007 and 2009, Motorola;Inc. was split into two public companies Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions on;4th January 2011.;The problem with Motorola is that of marketing strategy as far as its cell phones are;concerned. Off late the company has not shown any motivation towards innovation in;terms of technology after its RAZR came into market. The company is also suffering;from disjoint product line with too many products and operating systems which are not;even in competition with the competitors like Nokia, Samsung and LG.
