Question

See attached for multiple questions.,Natalia, I think there are errors in two of your solutions. In 9.19, the problem gives s=0.1, and I think you used s=1.0. In problem 9.31, I think there is a math error in the calculation of the test statistic. Please let me know your thoughts. Many thanks, Kevin King,Thanks again, but please check this math from problem 9.31: calculated t from your solution: (811-750) / (19.647/root(5)) You get 2.942585 I get 6.9425 The critical t at alpha=0.01 is 4.6, so our answers result in a Different conclusion. You can see my concern. Please let me know soonest. Kevin,My question is not about the critical values (ours are the same), it is about the test statistic. Please re-read my last question! I have asked about your math twice - I simply get a different test statistic.... "Thanks again, but please check this math from problem 9.31: calculated t from your solution: (811-750) / (19.647/root(5)) You get 2.942585 I get 6.9425" Frustrating at this point. Kevin King
